Booking and cancellation conditions

These conditions apply to tours booked on this website. Together with the terms and conditions they form the contract.

Who runs the tour

How to book

Choose the tour, the date and the guests on the tour page; on private tours, the port and departure time too. Your booking is confirmed once payment goes through, and you get a confirmation email straight away. For groups, events and tailor-made charters we send a quote on request.

Prices

• Prices are in euros, VAT included, and change with the season (low, mid and high): you see the price for your date on the tour page.
• Shared tours: price per person. Children aged 2 to 10 pay a reduced rate, under-2s go free (but must be included in the booking).
• Private tours: price per vessel, for the whole group up to the number of seats shown on the tour page.

Payment

You pay online by card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) or PayPal. Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal: we never see or store your card details. You can pay in full now, or a 30% deposit: in that case the balance is paid on the day of the tour, before departure. If you need an invoice, tick “I need an invoice” at checkout.

If you cancel

• Up to 7 days before the tour date: free cancellation, we refund everything you have paid.
• Within 7 days of the tour: we keep 30% of the total price (the same as the deposit). If you have paid in full, we refund the rest.
• No-show or arriving after departure: no refund.

To cancel, write to info@egadiboats.it or on WhatsApp at +39 351 406 7012 with your booking number. Refunds go back to the same payment method within 14 days.

Changing the date

Up to 7 days before, you can move the tour to another date in the season at no cost, if there is space. After that it counts as a cancellation.

Right of withdrawal

For leisure services booked for a specific date, the 14-day right of withdrawal under the Italian Consumer Code does not apply (art. 59(1)(n), Legislative Decree 206/2005). The cancellation rules above apply instead, and they are more favourable.

Weather and safety

We only go out when the sea is safe. If we can’t leave, we tell you on WhatsApp by the evening before (by the afternoon for the sunset tour) and you choose: another date or a refund of everything you have paid. The route may change with the wind: the skipper picks the most sheltered coves, and this does not entitle you to a refund.

Minimum numbers on shared tours

The shared tour runs with at least 10 guests on a boat and 6 on a RIB. If that number isn’t reached we let you know and offer another experience or a full refund.

The vessel

When you book you choose boat or RIB; we assign the exact vessel based on your group and availability. For technical or safety reasons we may replace it with another vessel of the same type.

On the day

The day before, we send you the time and boarding point on WhatsApp. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure: the boat can’t wait for latecomers.
